AV400 Oral & Practical Course -- 32 hours Tuition $595.00 Oral & Practical Evaluation**(Next Day) $500.00 (With written test passed) TOTAL $1095.00 * Oral and Practical preparation provides the student the knowledge to pass the O&P evaluation. ** AvTech works with approx. 5+ DME's who administer the O&P evaluation. This allows greater latitude in scheduling your O&P evaluation, You will never have to wait. The DME's do not work for AvTech Exams. There fore we are unable to establish a set fee, as each DME sets his own rate. Prices are $500 for US residents $550 - $600 for international students. The deposit will be applied to the cost of your tuition on your first day. The $250 deposit is non-refundable if you fail to show for your scheduled class. But this deposit may be applied to a later class date if proper notice of cancellation or rescheduling is afforded to the AvTech Exams scheduler. Deposits are payable to AvTech Exams by regularly excepted payment methods. Visa, MC, Company Check, Travelers Checks. You will receive direct personal instruction until you understand all of the required information and pass the FAA mechanic exams. FAA exams must have a grade of 70% or above in order to pass. Results are guaranteed. After you have passed the FAA Mechanic written exams, you must pass the oral and practical. If you choose to take the Oral and Practical in California, it will be scheduled with a FAA designated examiner by AvTech Exams personnel. At that time, you must have your grade slips for your written exams and two copies of the oral and practical application (8610-2) signed by the FAA. The oral and practical tests are given throughout the USA. We prepare you to take this test here upon completion of the Oral and Practical exam. You go home with your license in your pocket. FAA exam grades are recorded as course grades. Receipt of the FAA Mechanics Certificate is considered completion of the course. Thereafter an AvTech Exams diploma will be awarded. You must fill-out 2 copies, DO NOT SIGN the forms until the FAA tells you to do so during your interview.
