Inspection Authorization (IA)

Students must go to their local FAA Flight Standards District Office and fill out an application (FAA Form 8610-1) to take the IA exam.

 

Once you have obtained this form, signed by the FAA, you are eligible to take the IA exam at AvTech's testing center.

It will be to your advantage to attend our self-paced 5-day IA test refresher course. Our current pass rate for the IA course is about +99%. The test fee is $175.00.
